Diana Fountain
Young Diana, Goddess of the Hunt was given to the college by Mrs. Anna Hyatt Huntington. The statue was shipped from Mrs. Huntington's New York estate in May 1940. Diana was placed in the southern quadrangle and the pool was constructed that summer. The statue quickly became a focal point on campus as students passed between the dining hall, classrooms, and dormitories. It became a tradition to dress Diana for special occasions, holidays, and college events.
