Scientific and Literary Lectures.
Arrangements will be made with different Literary and Scientific gentlemen to deliver Lectures upon interesting subjects connected with our Course of Study, once a month, or oftener, during the session.
Reports.
A daily record is kept of each young lady's scholarship and deportment, and an average report sent home monthly. The Principals would earnestly request parents to pay attention to these reports, and make them a basis for admonition or encouragement.
Session and Vacation.
The scholastic year consists of but one session of nine months, commencing the 1st of October, and continuing until the 30th of June following. By this arrangement, pupils will be at home during the hot moths of July, August and September, and parents and guardians save the trouble and expense to and from the Institution in mid-winter.

Ministers' daughters, of any denomination, received free of charge for tuition in English branches.
When a pupil is entered it is understood to be for whole of current session, unless a special arrangement is made to the contrary.
No deduction is made after a pupil is entered, except at the option of the Principals ; and those who leave before the close of the session will in all cases be charged for Board and Tuition for the whole session, unless actual and protracted sickness is the cause of removal.
No deduction is made for those who enter during the first ten days of session. After that, pupils will be received at any time, and charged from time of entrance.
Pupils from a distance will board in the Institution, unless good and sufficient reasons exist for the contrary.
Books, Stationery, Sheet-Music, &c., furnished at lowest retail prices, and placed to account.
Pupils will furnish their own towels, table-napkins, and ring, one pair of sheets, two pillow or bolster cases, and one counterpane. They will have every article of clothing distinctly marked.
All pocket-money must be deposited with the Principals.
We would respectfully, but earnestly, beg of parents not to interfere with the regular duties of their children by withdrawing them during the session to spend a week or two at home.
We make no deduction for absence, except in case of protracted sickness; and it , of course, does not concern us in a pecuniary point of view; but so seriously does it interfere with the progress of the pupil, and so injurious is the effect on the classes thus broken up, that we would, if deduction were required, prefer making it for those who remain punctually at their duties.
