Administrative ComputingI.T. Services maintains all servers and network clients in support of administrative computing at Queens. The University uses a number of different software packages to support different areas. A brief description of the software used and the support available follows. Jenzabar EX Jenzabar EX is a comprehensive system which utilizes a suite of modules for department support within a collegiate setting. At Queens these modules handle support for Admissions, Business Office, Registrar, Student Life and web support. The software is available from Jenzabar. Each area at Queens has a module coordinator who is responsible for the training and operation of each module. I.T. Services works with the module coordinators to handle any technical issues that may arise. New accounts require permission from the appropriate module coordinator. Software support for Jenzabar EX is available from Jenzabar to resolve issues and questions with the software operation. Support calls to Jenzabar are normally handled by the module coordinator or users that have taken the Jenzabar training for the module in question. You must have completed the Jenzabar training to be able to call the support line. Check with your module supervisor to see if they allow you to call the support line directly or if they prefer you work through them. The Jenzabar support line can be reached via email at support1@jenzabar.net or at 1 (800) 999-2637. Resources for Jenzabar EX can be found on the M: drive of the Queens LAN.
