SEASONAL NATURALISTS Work from June 7-August 6,

Attend a week-long training workshop
Educate and supervise children ages 7-12 during nature-themed day camp
Develop and present environmental education programs to groups of all
ages
COMPENSATION $10.15/hour - 40 hours/week for 9
weeks
Please note: Housing is not available.
QUALIFICATIONS Qualified applicants must be
presently enrolled in, or have a BS/BA degree in one of the following
fields: natural/environmental sciences, environmental education,
education or related field. Applicants must have a strong desire to
work with children in an outdoor setting, be able to hike 3-5 miles on
unpaved trails, work outside in hot weather and lead children through
a diversity of habitats. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
Current basic first aid and CPR certification and knowledge of the
flora and fauna of the Piedmont region of North Carolina is preferred.
