In addition to these opportunities, political science students have numerous opportunities in Charlotte to work for local law firms and political campaigns.   We also offer internship opportunities in Washington, DC through American University’s Washington Semester Program, the Washington Center Program and the Institute for Experiential Learning.  Students can intern with the state government in Raleigh as well, through the North Carolina State Government internship program.
