Research Topic: THE VERSAILLES TREATY OF 1919 -- WHY DID IT GO SO WRONG?

What follows is a list -- as yet unsorted -- of the DOZEN most important findings I've encountered in my research.  For each point I've explained BOTH what the point is AND why I think it might be important.

 

1.  Woodrow Wilson was under extreme political pressure back home in the USA;  the World War was very unpopular, and the Progressive movement had run out of steam.  I think this is important because ...  (Source(s)
